HIERARCHY

The way text is arranged on the page has an impact on how consumers receive the message you are conveying.

Exploring Weight Within Text

Allow for headings to be bigger in point size than body text, as it tells the reader how to move from one area to another.

Additionally, take caution when considering line spacing on a page. Don’t bunch up huge amounts of text into a small area, but also take care of not using too much spacing for little text. Using too much or too little space can trigger negative reactions, which is not what is wanted for the reader.

Weak Hierarchy

As you can see, there is nothing eye-catching about the second image. All of the information on the page blends together, and you aren’t sure where your eye should go first.

The more people who can read your site, the better. Having text that is easy to read will increase trust in your consumers, which will increase consumption.
